I have 50,384 words. I think this year's NaNo was easier to complete than last year's. Maybe it's because I like the story better. It's funnier, less stupid, and Ferdinand is just plain awesome.

Isn't he awesome? I'll be posting a picture of Marie soon, too (Who has a real life twin, by the way.)

Six more days

Just six more days before NaNo is up! The month has just seem to have flown by.

I ended up writing a total of ELEVEN THOUSAND WORDS yesterday! Eep! Bringing total up to 45,209.

With out MM, WM, Em, Rasi, and JF I couldn't have done it.

So there's only ten days to go in NaNo! Yay!

Except I'm about 6 or 7k behind! Eep!

Fortunately my cat is giving me a lot of writing to do.

Unfortunately we're having guests over all of thanksgiving week and I won't be able to write much.

Fortunately I've had a very good writing day and will soon catch up if I keep up at this pace.

The lights in the ship were dimmed, casting shadows over the chairs. Eric followed us down the stairs and went to the back of the ship. I wonder what he’s doing… I skulked after him, pretending I stalked a ferocious prey.

He led me to a small galley where he started preparing some food. I leapt on the counter and peered at the pan he held, “What’re you making?” I asked, forgetting he couldn’t understand me.

Ignoring me he went on with his cooking, preparing plates of food. I tried to snatch a bite from one but he pushed me away, scolding, “Don’t touch that! It’s not yours.”

I purred, “It would be mine if you gave it to me.”

Middle of Day Six

Well, it's the middle of day six, I'm at 10k, only 23 words ahead.

I would like to write more, but I've been rather busy and not really feeling like it. It's not 'cause of my characters, either, I love them. I just can't seem to concentrate.

I should be able to get some done in the car tomorrow, 13 hour drive! =O

Then also maybe on the plane on Tuesday!

Day Two

I didn't get to write a blog post last night, but I was so tired I couldn't.

Last night I got to go to the first right of in my region of the month. It was a blast!

I won the word war, too. =D I got bubbles.

So far my word count is 2,500 and I'm writing easy, no problems at all so far.

New Plot

So I decided not to go with that plot. Why?

I like it and all and I think it'll be great and fun to write, but there's this adopt a plot thing going on on CP and so I decided to adopt one that I really like.

"A man (or woman) and his cat are abducted by aliens, but the aliens think the cat is the more intelligent species and only communicates through the feline. Have the MC be either an alien, the man or the cat!

End with them getting back to earth, but it's up to you whether they go back "home" or find a new home in the galaxy. "

The Mc will be the cat, it'll be in first person (into the mind of a cat we go!), and his human will be a history professor named Gordan.

Bet you can't guess the cat's name.

two names the first name is the first name of one explorer the other name is the last name of another explorer. F C are his initials

Gearing Up

It's almost time for NaNo again! *cheers erupt from the background*

Since last NaNo I've... Moved, gotten a horse, visited another state (that's 47 total now), broke my femur, become a better writer, and become quite proficient with crutches. I'm deadly *waves one around in the air*

No, no, I take that back. I would. ^^

I haven't thought about NaNo much until now, except for a few random conversations with MM. We're both planning on doing an off the wall/crazy story. I'm also making my main character an adult guy. This is a first for me. I hope he doesn't end up being too girly. I'd hit myself then... but not with my crutch.

So far what I have in my plot is this guy has a normal day, goes to bed, sleeps, then goes into this dream world and it's very bizarre. People keep telling him that the only way he can get back to his world is when the 'Ones Who Are' deem it to be the right time. He meets a group of 'prophets' who tell him that the 'Ones Who Are' want him to do something (random task and it almost always is very dangerous) and then he can go back to his world. He then performs the task, or sometimes, almost performs it and then gets pulled back to the circle of 'prophets' (who sit around a campfire all the time eating sm'ores) and they tell him that the 'Ones who Are' have changed their minds and want him to do something else.

It's all very frustrating for him... and that's all I have so far.

Yay! I reached 40,000 words today!! :D:D And still going! Even though I'm passed today's goal! *dances around in circles until she falls over*

I didn't have to do school today, either! *hugs her mommy* such a nice mommy. ^^ heh, I did get my new computer game, though and that took a lot of time away, but I still met my goal meheh! :P I'm so happy! =D

Now have to reach 50,000. :P I watched Tarzan today with my sisters... and did a mountain of dishes... all by myself. :P oh well...

Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! :D When I woke up at eight this morn... I was stupidly thinking I'd get a lot of writing done... A lot of writing is 200 words? I don't think so! =P

I spent to much time answering emails and talking to friends, hehe. ^.^ I managed to eat a little tiny bit of everything at dinner today, so I did eat something *bows* I'm so proud of myself. =P Heh... we had two guests over (though no relatives) and they came at 3:30 though dinner happened to be at 6. We played Catch Phrase for that long. It was fun.... I never won, though, which is strange... I usually win. =P

Then we had dinner... and pie! *whispers* I made the apple pie. And then we played more Catch Phrase... and talked... our guests stayed until 11, hehe. Rachel, Hannah, and I also watched Finding Nemo during a couple of rounds of Catch Phrase because we were bored with it. I also worked on our Christmas card, yes, I know, early, but it's a big project... I won't send it out until later, anyways. ^.^

Now I'm going to get ready for bed, disconnect from the internet and take my laptop to my room and write, write, write! Or that's my plan, I might end up falling asleep.... Plus I have school tomorrow >=P Bleah. Oh well.

At 11:59. :P Then I stayed up a little... and did nothing.
I haven't started today's... been emailing JF and quoting LOTR... again. ^^ and naming my horses.

Heh, I have eightBreyer horses now: an Icelandic pony, an Arabian, a hanoverian pony, a peruvian paso, a Dutch warmblood, a saddlebred, a quarter horse, and a warmblood. :D

We've named the Icelandic, Mare (Mar- AY), the Hanoverian, Leela (Lee-la), the dutch warmblood, Safinx (Sa-finx), and the Arabian, Adoni (A-DOH-ni). The others have yet to be named cause I can't get pictures cause someone *cough*Kaylee*cough* lost the camera... so they'll have to wait for names.

I get the horses by memorizing Bible verses. We have this system,
from October through December we memorize verses and for every ten words (one word is three letters or more)
that's a point. So depending on how expensive the horse is we have to earn points for it. There are some horses that cost twenty five points... So that's 250 words.... the smallest ponies are about $3 each so those cost five points each... It's cool and fun. :D

Now I have to do a Spanish test and economics and Personal Fitness and Web Design... and then I'll work on NaNo! Though I'll probably be working on it inbetween subjects, too.

I talked to Linny and MM and Arwen this morning before school. :D
Then I talked to Telpe a wee bit, lol, and then I did some school... Spanish... Economics.. o.O I didn't practice viola yes! :O Oops *whistles* oh well. I managed to get my NaNo word count done early, too! Thanks to many WWs with Linny and MM.

I also got to order a computer game today... Yay amazon! ten dollars less than in the store, including shipping. Heh, and I changed the siggie rules on DioM cause they were bugging me to DEATH! Enormous siggies with no meaning. So they should all be gone by Sunday *is happy*.

Tomorrow I won't have much time to write... I have to tutor at an elementary school in the morning and then go to a school with my dad. I don't have to go, but I want to. And so we have four talks to go to tomorrow. I might get to write some during that, I'll be bringing my notebook.

Oh, and I got a bracelet in the mail today! From AG! :D It's very pretty ^^ clear, white, and red beads. With silver letter thingies that say 'Leggy' ^^ *hugs AG* ish muy pretty ^^ I've been wearing it all day! :D

Now I gotta go to bed... We get hot chocolate tomorrow! yay! *falls off chair*

Just a few minutes till bed time and I still have a couple hundred words to write! Thanks to certain people TALKING TO ME WITHOUT STOPPING! *cough*Arwen*cough* Atleast AG stopped when I asked her to. :P Ok... ok... Arwen does too... some of the time.

I had church and orchestra rehearsal today so that kind of cut into my writing time as well. Three straight hours of christmas music. o.o I'm learning to loath it. xD

Why Do I Always Seem to Do This?

Heh, I did it again! Left the last couple hundred words until twelve minutes before my bed time! :D

I guess I like working under pressure... I had plenty of time to get it done, though. I just did chores this morning.. and I was planning on having a viola lesson, but my teacher canceled at the last minute because of a concert she had to go to. So I stayed home and IMed MM and Arwen and watched 'The Gospel According to Scroog', a play JF had been in. hehe, she gave it to me to watch. I liked it... JF sings really well.... I wish I could sing. :P

Oh well, ten minutes till bedtime and a couple hundred words left to write. *scampers off*

Back! Eight minutes to go! But I'm done! 30,064 words! *falls off chair fast asleep*

Here it is... fifteen minutes to elven, strict instructions to be in bed... I have one hundred words to write. Five people Iming me. Is this insane or what? :P

I had to go to a bunch of school talks with my dad today... Well, it was my choice to go. :D Anyways, I didn't get much done there cause I had to be introduced a hundred thousand times, but that's ok... though my battery died then. Fortunately I had brought my notebook! So on the way to the next school, I managed to write 800 more words! So now I need to hurry and finish (12min) then go to bed... I want to make cookies tomorrow. :P

I managed to go without eating until dinner today, and I didn't even get hungry until then! o.o Some people are worried about me becoming anorexic... but I don't think I am. I look healthy and feel healthy, just haven't been eating the past couple of days. :D

*scurries back off to writing*

Skipping a Day Won't Hurt... Will It?

So I procrastinated a little too much today. :P I haven't gotten anymore than 45 words done and I have to go to a literacy group... thingy that my dad is main speaker at. I had to do school and all today... So that kind of hindered my writing.. Heh... I didn't eat anything at all yesterday and drank nothing but a glass of tea and orange juice... My mom got upset with me, but I ate a bowl of cereal this morning and so she wasn't as upset... but it made me sick, bleah...

I gotta go to the group thingy now... I'm taking my laptop in hopes that I'll be able to write some.

Caught Up!

Well, this morning I woke up and started writing as soon as I rolled out of bed. :D That kind of helped, though I didn't get to far before my eye sight started annoying... So I went out of my room to the bathroom to put my contacts in, but my brother was in there... So instead of waiting patiently like a good little girl and pounded on the door and demanded to be let in... Good thing he ignored me. :P

After I got my contacts in, though I had to go clean the WHOLE ENTIRE house all by myself... even though my brothers were the ones who messed it up <.< They had to go to work and school... But I got it done! And it looks bery bery nice if I do say so myself.

After that I sat down at the table to write some more but nothing came... Well, I've descovered that for me to get any writing done I have to be lying on my stomach on the floor! xD It sounds strange, I know, but it works! I got maybe ten words done in an hour while sitting at the table, but I got over a thousand in an hour while on the floor! :D

So I got all caught up. I had to write three thousand words today since I wrote practically nothing today, but I didn't do any school *whistles*... well... I did a Spanish test, but... oh well...

I'm caught up! :D

oh well, my fault. :P I did a lot of school, then watched ROTK and had a quoting spree with JF... AGAIN! :p then I sewed some more bags...

Yesterday I made five lined tote bags and today I did the same, though I only made four. Each one has one word embroidered on them, Like; Love, hope, peace, and Joy.... they're for a fundraiser for a school...

I'm gonna try to write a little... If I don't fall asleep. But I'm still quoting ROTK with JF at the moment. :P

I Don't Want To...

Heh... this morning when I woke up I had the strangest dream... One that made me cry... Which is weird because I never ever ever ever (you get the point) cry... I don't even remember it now. :p Something about a building being blown up... I think.

Then I didn't want to write or do school or anything, basically feeling lazy... And Bethel said she felt the same... So I spent the morning deleteing Spamish posts on the DioM board and quoting LotR with JF... again. :P

After that I got yelled... well... kind of... over the internet, anyways, I did some Spanish homework then go to writing on NaNo... My WC is now 21,736, though my MC is now dead. She was only almost dead when I last posted. *whistles*

So Now I gotta think of what to do for the last 23,000 some words... :p If Jamie's dead... then maybe if her mother's so heartbroken she'd... *grins impishly* I think I got it :D

Another reason I got yelled at today is cause I wouldn't eat anything till I had Bethel, Arwen, and... uh I forget, yelling at me :p so I had a piece of pizza. ^^

Heh... just finished today's quota... word count is now 20,059. :D But my MC is now about five seconds away from taking her last breath... So I already have people calling me mean and such.

I started writing as soon as I got up this morning but after that I had to go to orchestra (my brother's wouldn't take me to church *pouts*) and we played for hours and hours... well... three and a half, but we played John Williams and Christmas music the whole time so it seemed like longer. :P We played 'Russian Christmas Music', 'Star Wars Medley', 'Princess Leia's theme music', 'E.T', and 'Pirates of the Caribbean'. Though we probably won't be playing pirates at a concert because it was so easy for us... They like to work us hard. :P

After I got home I wrote... kind of... until Bethel yelled at me to go eat, not having eaten before then. :P so I listened and got something and came back and just finished. :D

Now I'm gonna watch 'The Two Towers' and have a quoting spree with JF... cause it's fun. :P

I should get ahead for tomorrow, though. *whistles*

Another Day, Another 1,667 Words.

I procrastinated until about 12:00 this morning... If you call cleaning your room and rat's cage procrastinating. :P Then I got to work, though phone calls and various people IMing me... kind of hindered it, I managed to get about 700 words done, though.

Then I had a viola lesson and so much theory! ... who cares about Mediants, Dominants, sub-dominats, and leading tones? As long as the music sounds pretty when I play it. :P

And after that! It gets even better! Sorry, :P quoting LOTR, I know, but JF is watching it right now and quoting it so much it's stuck in my head. Well, anyways, I had to go to dinner with my brother's friends and my brother :P and then a concert! Though fortunately I wasn't playing, so I didn't have to wear my 'penguin suit' A.K.A tuxedo shirt, skirt, and big black bow tie. :P

When I got home my computer wouldn't turn on... Had a fuzzy grey screen... So I had to turn it off and back on again, and I had hundreds of IMs waiting for me. *cough*JF*cough*AG*cough*Bethel*cough* :P so I had to talk to them awhiles...well, didn't have to :P but I chose to :D

But I FINALLY got my daily word count done! YAY! Bringing my word count up to 18,338!

People are mad at me now because my MC is going to die on Christmas day... heh... Oh well. :D I'm not even half way done with my word count and my MC is dying... good thing I started switching MCs in the middle... heh...

Heh, so this is my NaNo Blog... :D For me to write down everything that went on... I guess :p

Well, while I was out of town I managed to get two full days out behind pace (Oh joy) and then when I got home I...for some reason did the math of how many words I needed to get done by that day, and found out I was another day under because I read my word count widget wrong! So I ended up being three days behind! :O

So last night I decide 'I am going to get caught up by tomorrow! Even if it kills me.' So I stayed up all night and past five AM... Though I finally fell over asleep at around 5:15... Then I got up at 9:45 and started writing again. And I did it :D I managed to get all the way caught up, even if I'm almost unconscious right now.

I'm kind of worried that my story is dragging... But I'll fix that in another day or two, people who have read it so far know what I mean. *hides*

I've found that doing word wars with friends in the dead of night...is very useful.
